In-Person Option - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER Semi-Annual Technical Training and Competency Maintenance Refresher This full-day training will cover the construction, savings expectations, tools, materials, diagnostic testing procedures, and techniques used in the complete weatherization of walls, attics, bellies, ductwork, diagnostics and infiltration of mobile homes. Problem areas, leaks, and pressures involved in moisture production will be discussed as well as their solutions. We will touch on auditing inputs and expected material usage, R-values and labor time expectations for measures. Cal Steiner Bio Cal was the Weatherization Program Manager for ten years in the State of North Dakota. He has 45 years of experience in the weatherization program as a crew member, estimator/auditor, coordinator, trainer, state monitor and state manager and national trainer as well as a QCI Inspector. Cal was involved in the SERI Mobile Home Comfort Project and Rolling Homes Training Show. He has trained on Complete Mobile Home Weatherization, crew motivation, pressure diagnostics and crew development in 47 states. He was also program manager of the Building Code process and Manufactured Home Installation Certification program and Modular Homes Inspections programs in the state of North Dakota. Since retirement he has stayed active in weatherization trainings, QCI’s and as an “Energy Out West” committee member. Certification Maintenance Refreshers are required for ALL ISV AND BPI certifications after your 1st year of holding a certification.
